What the waitlist stores
#When you join the waitlist, one row is saved:
- your email address, lowercased
- your answer to "What do you do?", if you gave one
- the page you signed up from (the path only)
- a one-way hash of your browser's user agent string. The raw string is not kept.
- the time you signed up
Your IP address is not written to the database. It is held in memory for a few minutes to limit repeated submissions, then discarded.
What it is used for
#To email you about Aria's beta and release. Nothing else, and it is not sold or shared.
The app
#Aria does not sync full agent prompts, code or diffs to the team. Speech recognition is requested only for features that need it.
If you enable hosted teams, Aria stores your account email, team membership, invites and shared records with Supabase. Team records include agent type, repo label or hash, status, notes, handoffs, and approval summaries you choose to escalate. Teammates with access can read the intended records. Do not put secrets in team messages.
Optional features that process text or screenshots with Anthropic send the selected material to Anthropic when you invoke them; review the action before using it. Local agent history, clipboard, and workspace files are not automatically uploaded as team records.
Cloud AI and selected context
#Local speech recognition does not make a cloud reply local. When you invoke cloud AI, your message leaves the Mac; additional excerpts require review and selection. Exact supported local actions can run without cloud inference. Jev classifies intent and cannot grant approvals or execute a model answer.
Paid scope, provider funding and model availability are checked separately from checkout. Before managed AI opens, its processor configuration, retention behavior and cancellation/account-switch controls require verification.
Diagnostics and usage
#The planned public build asks before sending scrubbed crash reports or content-free usage counts. Neither is enabled merely by installing the app. The user can inspect feedback diagnostics before sending. These controls must be verified before public launch.
Updates
#When updates are configured, Aria fetches a signed update feed over HTTPS. Update checks disclose the installed version and normal network request metadata to the feed host; system profiling is disabled.
Hosting and processors
#The site and form endpoint run on Vercel. Waitlist and hosted team data use Supabase. Optional own-key text or screenshot processing uses Anthropic.
Planned managed AI sends your message and explicitly selected context through OpenRouter to the chosen model provider, initially Anthropic for generated replies and TypeSafe/Jev for ambiguous intent classification. Managed AI is not available yet.
Stripe is the planned checkout and subscription processor; checkout is not open. Aria must verify signed payment events before granting paid access. Aria does not receive or store full card details. Fonts load from Google Fonts.
Removal and export
#Email arushp715@gmail.com from the address you signed up with to request waitlist removal or hosted account export/deletion. In-app export and deletion are required before public launch. Uninstalling removes the Mac app separately.
