About the developer

Made by one person, with a few agents.

Aria is designed and built by Arush Pogulakonda, a high school student and researcher at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, working alongside the same coding agents it was made to manage.

About me

I’m Arush, a high school student and a researcher at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. In between school and research, I design and build software: native Mac apps, simulations, and tools for working with AI agents.

Aria is the biggest of those so far. I design it, write it, test it and ship it myself, one careful release at a time.

Why Aria exists

Once you run more than one coding agent, most of the work turns into watching, approving and steering them. That deserves its own interface, and it should not be another window, or five.

I build Aria with Claude Code and Codex running beside me all day, which is exactly the problem it solves: one calm place at the top of the screen that tells you, at a glance, whether anything needs you.

How Aria is made

Three rules, kept on every screen.

  • Calm by default.

Only the orb glows. Everything else stays quiet until something actually needs you.

  • Real, never staged.

Real agent names, real commands, real file names. If a feature does not ship, it is marked as coming.

  • Local first.

Prompts, code and diffs stay on your Mac. Sharing is something you choose, not a default.

Say hello.

Bug reports, ideas, questions about the beta, or a note about what your agents are up to. All welcome.
